So I dropped it off at the gallery this morning. Wasn't crowded at all, although based on this recent twit pick from curator Hennessy Youngman, it does seem to be shaping up into what he has (humorously) been calling a "clusterfuck"...
It's a 3-day open call, can't imagine what the space is gonna look like by Sunday. His assistant said it's possible the gallery may get so packed with work, viewers might not be able to walk inside. Sorta like an installation of random art. Which is a totally cool concept. Will be interesting to see what's gonna happen in there.
But (sigh), I also like the piece on its own. Hopefully it comes back in relatively decent shape and we can show it again. Even if it's just Bedford Ave on a Saturday afternoon or the merch table at a Citay show.
